I was invited to teach a watercolor workshop on the beautiful Danube with Paint by Destination from August 19, 2024- August 26, 2024. Join this new watercolor experience and travel cruise with Paint by Destination, a destination watercolor workshop travel agency partnering with AmaWaterways.

This is a 7 day cruise on the beautiful Danube from August 19, 2024 - August 26, 2024 with an optional 2-Nights Budapest Pre-Cruise and 3 Nights Prague Post-Cruise at an additional cost.  During the cruise, there will be 5 days of watercolor workshop instruction.  Join us when we paint and sketch the beautiful historic cities of Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Linz, Passau and Vilshofen.  Both painters and Non-Painters are welcome.

** IF YOU BOOK YOUR TRIP BEFORE MARCH 31, 2024, YOU WILL SAVE $1,000! A $400 deposit is required to secure your booking. The painter fee is $4,497 (based on a shared room) and non-painters are $3,987. There is also an option to upgrade to a private room as well. This cost is all inclusive, with the exception of airfare and other terms outlined in the booking form.

Join us in Tequisquipan, Mexico in January 2025 for a unique watercolor workshop experience in old Mexico. The maximum accommodation for this workshop is 10 people, so space is limited.

The trip includes 7 days of accommodations, 5 days of painting, meals and transportation to and from the airport in Queretaro. Meals include all breakfast and lunches provided by a private chef at the Villa, a farewell dinner/celebration with music in the Villa. Accommodations including double occupancy rooms, en plain air, tours and a private cooking class. The workshop does not include air fare, trip insurance, tips, meals other than those noted and optional activities such as massage, yoga and private wine tasting.

Cost is $1675.00 USD double occupancy for each workshop.  There is a $350 cost to upgrade to single occupancy. We encourage travelers to travel together and share a room since space is limited. A deposit of $300.00 is required to be submitted when making this reservation. 

This trip will include a week long stay in Tequis, Mexico including daily indoor watercolor workshop and plein air painting and sketching in the town of Tequis, Mexico and urban sketching in surrounding regions.

This watercolor workshop will include 5 days of painting including the basics of watercolor, urban sketching & painting and how to compose and paint impressionistic watercolor paintings.  The class will include sketching basics, in-class watercolor instruction on a simple 3 step process of painting, urban pencil and ink sketching techniques and en-plein air painting in the village and surrounding areas of Tequisquiapan.
