PURCHASING Original Watercolors or COMMISSIONED ARTWORK by Al Kline

If you can envision one of my paintings hanging in your home or office, you are in the right place!

All watercolors are original and painted/drawn by the artist. All watercolors are sealed and some are bound to gatorboard either waxed or varnish with museum quality archival sealant to prevent yellowing and fading.  Most of my works are now waxed in cold wax to prevent smudging, fading and to prevent accident watermarks.  

The best way to see my paintings is in person. (The images on this website are small and the computer screen does not capture the vibrant colors and textures). Most of these works will be available in person through the Rockport Arts Festival that is held in Rockport, Texas every July 4th weekend.  I also show in local galleries such as the Padre Island Art Gallery and the Meridian & Muse Fine Art Gallery in South Padre Island (78597)

I do not frame the originals and will send the painting rolled in a tube. It is easy to flatten the painting when it arrives under some books on a flat table. You can then take it to your local framer and your done! Sales tax will be calculated prior to sale. Free shipping is available on all works.

All my paintings are hand-drawn and painted with the best painting materials on the market. I guarantee the quality of each work. If, for some reason, the work does not fit your wall, the color is not what you anticipated, you can return the work with a full refund within 14 days. (Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser). 

If you are interested in a commissioned work of art, please contact me. (No returns on commissioned artwork, sorry).  For commissioned art work, I will need high quality photos or preferrable see the subject in person.  I do multiple sketches and compositional work and send these sketches to you for approval.  Then the artwork is created!  There is nothing quite like an authetically, created watercolor by the hand of a master artist.  No AI here!

Giclée PRINTS AVAILABLE for MOST WORKS

I personally inspect each giclée print for quality assurance. The prints I ship are museum-quality pieces produced with the highest attention to detail and autheticity to the original work of art. Giclée print prices depend on the number in each edition.   Giclee prints can range from $125 to $425 for most works presented here.  Each print is produced on authentic watercolor paper.
